A Haven of Peace Just Steps From the D-Day Landing Beaches
This time of year is ideal for visiting the D-Day landing beaches, a must-see in Normandy. Fewer crowds allow you to fully immerse yourself in history while enjoying the surrounding tranquility. You can also explore Pointe du Hoc or stroll through the historic streets of Sainte-Mère-Église without being jostled by the summer crowds.

The hiking trails around La Baie des Veys are also worth rediscovering this season. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll along the marshes to observe migratory birds, or a more challenging hike to the heights overlooking the bay offering breathtaking views of the Normandy countryside, each path promises stunning panoramas.
