Hike on the customs trail
You want to go on long walks along the coast? La Manche is a place full of superb hiking trails. This is the case of the GR® 223, more commonly known as the “Sentier des Douaniers” or “Sentier du littoral”. From Isigny-sur-Mer, the GR® links Carentan to Mont Saint-Michel, over a distance of 446 kilometers.
The discovery of the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Park
Stroll and enjoy the diversity of the landscapes of the regional natural park of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes. Some advice: bring good walking shoes, water and a hat. We keep the espadrilles for the beach activities! The Maison du Parc is the ideal place to walk around, discover and understand the marshes, in all seasons, with your family, your class or a group of friends. Located in Carentan-les-Marais, it is also the entry point to a remarkable natural area.

The richness of the territory’s ornithology is due to the diversity of environments and landscapes (marshes, moors, coastline and bocage), to the agricultural practices of mowing and grazing in the marshes and to the geographical location on a major migration axis.

Domaine de Beaugillot : natural charm
