History

On June 6, 1944 , D-Day, Allied forces conducted the largest amphibious operation ever undertaken, laying the foundation for the liberation of France and Europe. Our Normandy beaches—Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Gold Beach, Juno Beach, and Sword Beach—symbolize the courage, sacrifice, and commitment of men and women from all over the world.
